Economical Pleated Filter
When the Daikin MC707B/Siesta 7FS or the  pleated air the Daikin MC704VM/Siesta  filter replacement indicator turns on, you throw away the old filter.  To maintain deodorising power and dust-collecting performance, all you have to do is replace the old filter with a new filter.

Since the air purifiers come with 7 filters included, a clean new filter can be installed each year and you still won't need to buy one for 7 years.

Once-a-year filter replacement is just a guide. Replacement time will differ depending on how the unit is used and where it is located. The replacement period will be shorter if the unit is used in a location where the air is very dirty. Calculation of filter life is based

Pleated Filters apply to the Daikin MC707/Siesta 7FS only

The front side of the two-sided pleated or roll filter is the electrostatic dust collection filter that works to collect dust, pollen, mite droppings and detritus, mould spores and other particles that have been positively charged by the plasma dust collector.  The  Daikin Photocatalytic filter works on the reverse side with the Titanium Apatite coating where Odour, bacteria and viruses are adsorbed and decomposed.

The filtering surface of an MC707B/Siesta 7FS pleated filter is approximately 1.5 times larger than that of the conventional flat filter fitted to the MC704VM. Filters are not interchangeable.
